We break our fasting for the past whole night of 8 hours by consuming food in the morning. Skipping a breakfast can severely affect your health.

Masala Omlette

Masala Omlette is very easy to prepare in less time. It is very tasty as well as healthy for breakfast.

Preparation:

Heat 1 tbsp of sunflower or vegetable oil in a nonstick frying pan and add 1 clove crushed garlic, 2 spring onions, 1 medium tomato and 1/2 medium green chilli, chopped. Cook for 2-3 minutes until soft. Add 1 tsp medium curry powder and 1/2 tsp garam masala and fry for a further minute. Beat 2 eggs together in a small bowl and season with spices and veggies. Add the egg mixture to the pan and swirl the pan until the omelette mixture is cooked underneath.Carefully flip the omelette over and cook for 1-2 minutes, until golden. Scatter with 1 tbsp of fresh coriander and serve immediately.

 

Bombay Toasty

Bombay Toasty is among the famous street foods of Mumbai. Layers of fresh finely cut vegetables, ketchups and spices will add flavours and taste to your breakfast. Whereas the preparation of this breakfast consumes less time.

Preparation: 

In a cast iron skillet warm and ready to go,.add a dollop of butter. Then use a soft, fluffy bread. Take a slice of bread and dip both sides so they’re fully drenched in the egg wash. Then, spoon some of the jalapenos, red onions and cheese on the top side and use a spatula to place the whole thing in the skillet. Toast for about 3 minutes on either side (on medium heat), and it’s ready to serve.

 

Rawa Upma

Rawa Upma is a staple breakfast of South India. It’s very easy to prepare while making your meal healthy and tasty.Fresh vegetables, mashed coconut, will add nutrients to your breakfast.

Preparation:

Take 1 cup rava, ⅓ cup finely chopped onions, 1 teaspoon chopped green chillies, 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger and 2 tablespoons coriander leaves (cilantro). Also take 8 to 10 curry leaves, 10 to 12 cashews, 1 teaspoon chana dal and 1 teaspoon urad dal. Then heat a pan and put 1 cut rawa. Begin to roast the rava. Stir often while roasting the rava. Let the rawa became dry and crispy. Don’t let’s it brown. Once it starts to give fragrance, put off the flame and take rawa in a plate. Then in a pan, heat 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) or oil. You could use sunflower oil or peanut oil or safflower oil or any neutral tasting oil. Add all other veggies Dal and finely cut onions and cook it. After they are cooked add cooked rawa in them and mix it frimly. Leave on medium flame for 5-10 minutes and it’s ready to serve.

 

Vegetable bread Sandwich

Bread is the most convenient food product, mostly used in breakfast. Adding fresh cucumber, tomatoes, capsicum and veggies between two slices with ketchup and mustard will make your breakfast yummy and healthy. It doesn’t take much time to prepare this breakfast item.

Preparation:

Take two fresh slice of bread. Cut some veggies like onion, capsicum and cucumber. Firmly place cut veggies, slice of cheese or tomato ketchup in-between two slice of bread. Garnish it with coriander leaves, salt and pepper. It’s ready to sever.

Poha

Poha is another most easy and convenient breakfast item to prepare when you have less time in hand. This breakfast item is very popular in Maharastra.

Preparation:

Clean poha with water in a colander. Meanwhile chop some onions, capsicum, and veggies you want to put in poha. Put a frying pan on medium flame and put some oil and mustard in it. Cook it for a while. Then add onions and other veggies. Cook them too. Now add cleaned poha to it. Cook on medium flame for 7 minutes and mix them firmly. Garnish them with coriander leaves and ketchup. It’s ready to serve.
