Vice President Vainkaya Naidu to visit UAE to express condolences on India’s behalf

The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed on Friday 14 that Honorable Vice President Shree M Venkaiah Naidu will be visiting the UAE on 15 May on India’s behalf to offer condolences to the UAE leadership.

Hence, to offer condolences to the UAE leadership on the unfortunate demise of President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE. Lest, he was the incumbent President of the UAE and Ruler of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar visited the UAE Embassy in New Delhi. On Sunday to convey India’s condolences. India is also observing a day of national mourning today.
“Under leadership of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. India-UAE ties prospered hugely to the mutual benefit of the people of the two nations. He took exceptional care of the large Indian community in UAE. Who held him in the high esteem”. MEA said in its statement.

Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi expressed his warm regards to the ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon being elected as the President. While showing confidence that the comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries would continue to grow in future.
