Pakistan activates 27 launch pads and prepares 320 militants to enter India, quotes Intelligence

Indian intelligence confirmed that Pakistan has activated 27 launch pads and 320 militants are set infiltrate into the territory through the border.

The Indian intelligence, on Friday, reported Pakistan’s efforts in infiltrating into India through the Line of Control (LoC). The intel reported that Pakistan has activated 27 launch pads along the LoC where about 320 militants are set to infiltrating into the Indian border.

An alert has been issued by the Indian intelligence due to this situation and it has been anticipated that such efforts by the neighbor are being planned ahead of the Independence Day.

The New Indian Express reports that there have been conversations, which have been intercepted by the Research and Analysis Wing of India (RAW) after which, a red alert was issued amongst the security personnel deployed along the India-Pakistan border.

The news comes a few days after both the countries exchanged gun-fires along the border. On Tuesday, the armies of both the countries violated the ceasefire at Machil and Gugaldhar sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. It has also been reported that the security personnel arrested three alleged militants in Kupwara district, earlier this week. They were carrying 10kg brown sugar, two AK-47 rifles, two pistols and 20 grenades.

It is imperative to highlight that the Chinese markings on the grenades gave an indication of an alliance between both the countries to present a united front against India. The markings on other weapons were removed.

India has been struggling to maintain sound diplomatic relations with these two neighbors. While Pakistan tries to topple the situation at the border, China’s efforts of disengagement have not been continuous either. India has still been reporting that the disengagement along with Indo-China border is still not complete.
