Dubai-based Indian girl Samriddhi Kalia sets her third world record in Yoga

A Dubai-based Indian girl has broken the world record. Samridhi Kalia has painted the world record in her name for doing a hundred yoga poses in a small box within three minutes. Khaleej Times reported on Saturday that Samridhi Kalia’s name is quite famous in the world of yoga. Earlier, Samridhi had won two yoga titles in less than a month.

11-year-old Samridhi got her name added in the Golden Book of World Records for the third time for executing the ‘fastest hundred yoga postures performed in restricted space’. She took the challenge and completed yoga poses in three minutes and 18 seconds. The video was shot with Burj Khalifa at the back and Samridhi in the front.

She is receiving her third world record just weeks after receiving her second, which was for performing 40 advanced yoga postures in one minute inside a small box. She had claimed her second world record on International Day of Yoga. The Grade 7 student of Ambassador School in Dubai believes that such incredible achievements are made possible with sheer hard work and perseverance.

Khaleej Times in their report quoted Samridhi saying, “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. Work hard in silence, let success be your noise. I feel that my greatest asset is not my physical ability, it is my mental ability.”

Samridhi further spills her secret by revealing that she practices yoga for three hours daily. Apart from that the 11-year-old also plays lawn tennis, cycles, swims, enjoys ice skating, and is learning badminton as well. Samridhi has established her name in the world of artistic and rhythmic yoga. She also bagged the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Award for her outstanding achievements in yoga in January 2020 by the Consulate-General of India.
