The Serum Institute of India has entered into an agreement with the Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop COVID-19 vaccine.Up to 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine candidates are expected to produce.

“The funding will support at-risk manufacturing by SII for candidate vaccines from AstraZeneca and Novavax,” the manufacturer of drug stated.
On Wednesday, Novavax Inc. reported that it has reached into a supply and licensing arrangement with the Serum Institute of India for the production and commercialization of its COVID-19 vaccine product.

About 2-3 million doses of the Oxford COVID-19 vaccine candidate has already developed by the firm.
