Air India’s Vande Bharat mission flights have been banned from flying to two Hong Kong for two weeks. According to a report by South China Morning Post, Hong Kong took these steps because Air India was “carrying too many passengers infected with COVID-19”.
This action was taken after the Chinese authorities linked 11 imported COVID-19 cases to an Air India flight that arrived at Hong Kong on the 14th of August.
