
Shares of Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd fell over 5% in Friday’s session after the company reported a sharp widening of its consolidated net loss for Q3FY25. The company posted a net loss of ₹193.83 crore, compared to a net loss of ₹17.26 crore in Q3FY24, marking a 1023% YoY decline.
Despite the widening loss, sales increased by 7.96% YoY, reaching ₹99.15 crore in Q3FY25, compared to ₹91.84 crore in the same period last year. However, the company’s operating margin (OPM) turned negative, standing at -32.91%, a significant drop from 14.9% in Q3FY24.
At the operational level, PBT (Profit Before Tax) stood at a loss of ₹206.14 crore, deteriorating from a ₹20.42 crore loss in Q3FY24, reflecting a 910% decline.
The stock, which closed at ₹223.63 in the previous session, dropped over 5% to ₹211.46 following the results, as concerns over rising losses weighed on investor sentiment.
