Veedol Corporation shares drop 2% after Q2 FY25 net profit decline

Veedol Corporation Ltd. reported a slight decline in revenue and net profit for Q2 FY25, causing a drop of over 3% in its stock price. The company’s net profit fell 2% YoY to ₹34.60 crore, down from ₹35.24 crore in Q2 FY24, and 7% QoQ from ₹37.11 crore in Q1 FY25.

Revenue from operations decreased by 1% YoY, totaling ₹476.22 crore, compared to ₹478.87 crore last year. On a QoQ basis, revenue also saw a minor drop of 0.6%.

For the half-year period ending September 30, 2024, Veedol’s cumulative revenue increased slightly to ₹955.09 crore, while net profit grew by 8%, reaching ₹71.71 crore.
