Star Health Insurance has confirmed a data breach that resulted in the leak of over 3 crore customer records. Anonymous hackers claim that Star Health’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Amarjeet Khanuja sold the data to them.
However, the company stated that they were victims of a targeted cyberattack and have not found any wrongdoing by the CISO so far. Despite the breach, the company assured that its operations remain unaffected.
