HFCL Limited reported a sharp decline in its financial performance for the first quarter of FY26. The company posted a net loss of Rs 29.30 crore, compared to a net profit of Rs 110.65 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the loss has narrowed sequentially from Rs 83.30 crore in Q4 FY25.
Revenue from operations fell 24.8% year-on-year to Rs 871.02 crore in Q1 FY26, down from Rs 1,158.24 crore reported in Q1 FY25. On a sequential basis, revenue saw an improvement of 8.78% from Rs 800.72 crore in the previous quarter.
The drop in year-on-year revenue and profitability is reflective of ongoing challenges in the telecom and infrastructure space. The company continues to navigate macro headwinds and operational cost pressures, which have weighed on its bottom line.
