Avantel Limited reported a 56% year-on-year decline in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company posted a net profit of Rs 3.22 crore, down from Rs 7.38 crore in the same quarter last year (Q1 FY25).

Total revenue from operations stood at Rs 51.91 crore, marginally up from Rs 51.76 crore a year ago. Including other income, total income was Rs 51.95 crore in Q1 FY26 compared to Rs 52 crore in Q1 FY25.

Expenses increased to Rs 46.65 crore from Rs 41.10 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. The jump was largely due to a sharp increase in changes in inventories (Rs 123.84 crore vs Rs 16.6 crore YoY) and depreciation & amortization expenses, while cost of materials consumed fell to Rs 8.28 crore from Rs 1.71 crore.

Profit before tax declined to Rs 5.30 crore, down from Rs 1 crore in Q1 FY25. Tax expenses also decreased to Rs 2 crore from Rs 3.58 crore.
