Premier Energies saw a significant surge in its shares after securing an order worth ₹215 crore from the Uttar Pradesh Department of Agriculture to install solar water pumping systems.
By 2:08 pm, the company’s shares were trading 16.23% higher at ₹978.50 on NSE.
Premier Energies recently made a strong debut on the stock exchanges, listing with a 120% premium. The stock opened at ₹990 on NSE and ₹991 on BSE, far above the offer price of ₹450.
The company’s IPO was well-received by investors, with a subscription rate of 74 times.
