Morgan Stanley has maintained its overweight call on Apollo Hospitals, setting a target price of ₹7,110 per share, which implies a potential upside of 2% from the current market price of ₹6,950. Apollo is actively expanding its infrastructure, with plans to build a 500-bed hospital in Worli, Mumbai, a highly attractive market.
Morgan Stanley notes that Apollo’s metro presence is expected to grow, with the metro share in the company’s overall mix projected to increase from 57% in FY24 to 60% by FY29. Currently, Apollo operates 7,942 owned beds and plans to add 2,877 more over the next 3-4 years, translating to an 8% growth in bed capacity from FY25 to FY29.
