On Monday, December 1, L&T Technology Services traded at Rs 4,490, up 2.39% in early market hours, after the company announced the development of an advanced AI-powered digital twin platform designed to improve precision in respiratory diagnostics and assist clinicians in complex lung navigation procedures. The platform will be officially showcased at the RSNA 2025 meeting.

According to the company, the new solution combines LTTS’ strengths in medical imaging, platform engineering, AI-driven diagnostics and connected health systems with NVIDIA’s high-performance AI computing stack. This integration enables low-latency, scalable diagnostic workflows aimed at enhancing accuracy and accessibility for healthcare providers.

A key component of the system is its ability to connect directly with CT imaging and generate a detailed 3D digital twin of the patient’s lung anatomy. Using deep learning models, the platform reconstructs airways, blood vessels, lobes and lesions with clinical precision. NVIDIA MONAI supports medical image segmentation, while NVIDIA TensorRT powers optimized inference for real-time medical use.

The digital twin provides interactive anatomical visualization, helping clinicians plan and navigate bronchoscopy procedures. By mapping precise pathways through complex airway structures, the platform is designed to support procedural efficiency and aid clinical outcomes in conditions such as lung cancer, COPD and infectious diseases.

LTTS highlighted that one of the differentiators of its platform is the ability to convert static imaging data into dynamic, continuously evolving anatomical models. Built on the company’s proprietary navigation technologies and medical engineering expertise, the system aims to provide clinically meaningful simulations that support physicians in planning treatments with greater assurance.
