According to estimates, the company’s total income for the fourth quarter is likely to grow 5% year-on-year to ₹5,430 crore. Motilal Oswal said Net Earned Premium (NEP) growth is expected to remain moderate, impacted by weak auto sales and the transition to the new 1/n accounting method. However, the auto segment’s market share is likely to have improved.

The combined ratio (CoR) may stay elevated due to seasonality and accounting changes. Analysts at Nuvama noted that while sequential loss ratios are likely to improve, CoRs may deteriorate as the full implications of the revised accounting method on distributor payouts continue to unfold. Management has not provided specific guidance on this front.
