
Shares of Gopal Snacks fell nearly 4% on Thursday after the company reported disappointing first-quarter results. The EBITDA declined by 16%, with margins falling to 11.5% from 15.3% in the previous quarter.
The company’s net profit dropped 14.32% to Rs 24.30 crore in the quarter ended June 2024, compared to Rs 28.36 crore during the same period last year. Despite this, sales rose by 9.73% to Rs 349.48 crore, up from Rs 318.48 crore in the previous year’s quarter.
