GHCL shares surge 5% after getting environmental clearance for Soda Ash Greenfield project in Kutch

GHCL’s stock surged 5% to reach a new 52-week of Rs 744.00 following the company’s announcement that it received environmental clearance for its Soda Ash Greenfield project in Kutch, Gujarat.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) granted the approval in a letter dated December 12, 2024.

In the exchange filing, the company shared, “We are pleased to inform that the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India vide letter dated December 12, 2024, has granted Environment Clearance w.r.t. Soda Ash Greenfield Project of the Company located in Kutch, Gujarat.”

GHCL Ltd. shares opened at ₹700.00, reaching a high of ₹744.00 and a low of ₹683.20 during the session.

As of 1:47 pm, GHCL shares were trading 4.34% higher at Rs 730.50 on the NSE.
