EaseMyTrip shares drop nearly 3% as Q3 net profit declines 25% YoY

Shares of EaseMyTrip declined by 2.68% on February 17, 2025, following the announcement of its Q3 FY25 financial results. The stock closed at ₹11.63, down ₹0.32 from the previous session.

For the third quarter, the online travel aggregator reported a 6.3% decrease in operating revenue, which stood at ₹150 crore compared to ₹160 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from air ticketing contributed 65% of the total revenue, while hotel packages formed 22%.

The company’s expenses increased by 2.4%, reaching ₹107 crore in Q3 FY25 compared to ₹105 crore in Q3 FY24. Key overheads included service costs, payment gateway charges, employee benefits, and advertising costs.

EaseMyTrip’s net profit also saw a significant dip, falling by 25% to ₹34 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to ₹45.6 crore in Q3 FY24. Despite the drop in profit, the company reported a market capitalization of ₹4,252 crore.
