EaseMyTrip share price surges over 4%, day after promoter sells stake and multiple funds buy

Shares of Easy Trip Planners surged 4.08% to ₹35.72 on the NSE at 9:45 AM, following news that one of the company’s promoters, Nishant Pitti, divested a 14% stake in the company through open market transactions. The sale, amounting to ₹920 crore, involved the offloading of 24.65 crore shares, according to bulk deal data available on the NSE.

The stock opened at ₹34.50, hit a high of ₹36.20, and saw a low of ₹34.40 in early trading, as investors reacted to the substantial stake sale by the promoter.
