Dynamic Cables shares jumped over 7% higher after the company said it secured an important approval from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). The certification allows Dynamic Cables to manufacture and supply ACSR and AL59 conductors, up to 61 strands, from its facility at SKS Industrial Area in Reengus, Sikar, Rajasthan.

In its regulatory filing, the company noted that the approval confirms the technical readiness of its plant for producing these conductors, which are commonly used in Power Grid projects across the country. With this clearance in hand, Dynamic Cables expects to be better positioned for upcoming PGCIL tenders, potentially widening its opportunities in the transmission sector.

The company also clarified that the approval is unconditional, carrying no validity restrictions or additional regulatory requirements, making it a straightforward addition to its operational capabilities.
