Shares of IT player Cyient surged over 6% in the morning trade on Friday after the company reported a healthy set of Q4 earnings, at a time when other players missed to impress the street and investors. The stock hit a day’s high of Rs 1,194 on the BSE against its previous close of Rs 1,091. At 10:00 AM, shares of Cyient were up 6.1% at Rs 1,158.
The company’s Q4 net profit grew 5.8% on a YoY basis at Rs 163 crore against Rs 154 crore reported in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,751 crore against Rs 1,181 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.
The board of the company has also announced final dividend of Rs 16 for FY23.
