Days after Girish Kousgi resigned from his post of CEO of Can Fin Homes, the company has started its search for a new CEO, Moneycontrol reported. The company stated in a press release that Mr Kousgi will discharge his duties till the date of his relieving.
“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform you that, Shri Girish Kousgi, Managing Director & CEO (DIN: 08524205) of the Company, has conveyed to the Board today i.e. September 19, 2022, about his decision to resign from the post of Managing Director & CEO of the Company for personal reasons,” said the release.
In September 2019, Mr Kousgi joined Can Fin Homes as its MD & CEO, a post he has held over the previous three years. He has 18 years of combined experience in banking and financial services. Before joining this company he was the head of retail credit and risk management at Tata Capital between 2018-2019.
He has been a part of Bharat Plus Banking, and ICICI Bank and has held other notable positions. He was promoted to the position of Joint General Manager and held the position till 2017.
