Shares of Axiscades Technologies surged 4% in morning trade after the company announced a major strategic development with European missile systems leader MBDA at the Paris Air Show 2025. As of 9:20 AM, the shares were trading 3.58% higher at Rs 1,390.00.

MBDA CEO Eric Béranger and Axiscades Chairman Dr. Sampath Ravinarayanan confirmed plans to expand their decade-long partnership, focusing on MBDA’s “Make in India” and India’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives.

Axiscades has been a prime Indian Offset Partner for MBDA, delivering test benches and maintenance services for MICA missiles and launchers. The company has also been instrumental in Depot Level Maintenance and high-end engineering services for global aerospace OEMs and India’s Ministry of Defence.

The companies have now set up working groups to explore new areas of collaboration. Axiscades will establish a dedicated facility at the Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, which will house a test bench lab, missile launcher setup, and skilled workforce.

The expansion will enhance MBDA’s industrial footprint in India and provide access to Axiscades’ cost-efficient, high-quality engineering capabilities. Both parties anticipate a rise in volume of sourced products and services in the coming years.
