7-day CBI custody for former NSE head Chitra Ramakrishna

Chitra Ramakrishna, former MD & CEO of NSE is sent under CBI custody for seven days after a Delhi court passed an order on the matter on Monday. During the investigation by CBI, Ramakrishna had also refused to recognise then group operating officer, Anand Subramanian, CBI told Delhi court on Monday.

The CBI had sought for a custody of the former NSE chief, stating that they have found more than 2000 email conversations and more details to be digged out.

Ramakrishna was arrested by the CBI on Sunday in the NSE co-location case, while Subramanian was also arrested in the same case in February.
