On Thursday, the Ministry of Finance granted permission to select states to “raise additional financial resources of Rs 9,913 Crore” through Open Market Borrowing. The permission was granted after Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Karnataka & Tripura implemented the conditions of the “One Nation One Ration Card”
The central bank is now open in its currency liquidity to banks in the select states for Rs 9,913 Cr.
