Skipper shares surge to record all-time high as company secures Rs 737-crore contract with Power Grid

Skipper shares soared by 13% and reached an all-time high during early trade on February 26th, following the company’s announcement of securing a lucrative Rs 737-crore contract with Power Grid Corporation of India.

The leading power transmission & distribution structures manufacturer clinched the contract for the design, supply, and construction of a 765 kV transmission line project, further solidifying its position in the sector.


As of 11:08 am, Skipper shares continued their upward trajectory, trading 5.10% higher at ₹371.75, reflecting investor optimism and confidence in the company’s latest achievement.

Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper, expressed satisfaction at the company’s latest feat in the power transmission and distribution business, highlighting the significance of the contract in bolstering Skipper’s position in India’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) domain. The steady influx of orders, particularly from PGCIL, has significantly augmented Skipper’s order book, underscoring its positive outlook for the sector.
