L&T hits 52-week high at Rs 3,614 on B&F Business Winning Key Orders

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reached a 52-week high of Rs 3,614, marking nearly a 1 percent intraday gain on January 17, propelled by significant orders secured by the company’s Buildings and Factories (B&F) business in India and Oman.

As of 10:31 am, Larsen & Toubro was quoted at Rs 3,588.40, showing an increase of Rs 14.60 or 0.41 percent on the BSE.


The residential segment of the B&F business clinched a substantial repeat order from the Government Planning and Development Authority, Maharashtra. The project entails the construction of EWS housing, 14 towers, and related infrastructure in Navi Mumbai. The scope of work covers the design and construction of civil structures, including finishes, MEP, and external development works. The project is slated to be executed within 42 months. The positive market response is evident in the company’s shares hitting a 52-week high.
