In Delhi, the petrol prices hit an all time high as well with Rs 98.81 per litre while the diesel retail price also hiked at Rs 89.18 per litre.
The petrol in Mumbai has reached at retailing price of 104.90 Rs in the city itself and the diesel price at 96.72 per litre.
In the Chennai the prices of petrol and diesel has increased. Retail price of petrol being Rs 99.80 per litre and that of diesel being Rs 93.72 per litre.
In Kolkata the latest price has reached for petrol at Rs 98.64 per litre and Diesel being at Rs 92.03 per litre.
Since 4th May , petrol has crossed the price mark of Rs 100 per litre in many cities across the nation. Maharashtra, Andra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha.
Buying petrol in Mumbai is almost twice the cost per litre you pay compared to New York, US. Such increase in fuel prices are leaving Indian Car owners unable to afford the cost of using their vehicles for regular use and spurring the countries transport industry.
The fuel prices often differ from every State due to the local taxation policies such as VAT and transportation charges.
