Cricket in India is not just seen as a sport, but is regarded as a religion, which people follow wholeheartedly. When it comes to Indian Premiere League (IPL), the cricket league is often tagged as the “India ka Tyohar,” which correctly defines the craze of the tournament amongst the fan. As the cricket league will soon be witnessing a mega auction ahead of the new season, ten teams look forward to create their group almost from the very scratch.

5. David Warner
A dynamic cricketer is what we can tag David Warner as! The Australian sportsperson has been associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a good period of time now. But, speculations were made that in IPL 2021, things didn’t seem great between the cricketer and the franchise. David was pulled down from the captaincy after a few unlucky matches and was later also removed from playing11, as a result of his poor form. However, with the mega-auctions coming up, we have our bid on Warner as one of the costliest player of IPL 2022.
4. Shreyas Iyer
Last year was an unfortunate one for the rising star, Shreyas Iyer, as he was ruled out of the entire tournament of IPL 2021. This announcement by Delhi Capitals was made, following Shreyas’ shoulder injury. However, later on the entire tournament itself got suspended midway, due to a rise in the COVID-19 cases. After a break of few months, the cash league restarted in September 2021, and by now Sreyas Iyer had recovered from his injury well. Iyer is all set to pull the attention of some huge prospect bidders, owing to his excellent captaincy with Delhi Capitals (DC) and his amazing batting records. As per the media sources, Shreyas will most likely go for new franchises as their skipper.
3. KL Rahul
KL Rahul has been a skipper for Punjab Kings (PBKS), however the cricketer is all set to leave the Punjab based franchise. It is known that Rahul is tired of the poor run of the franchise over the period of time. He has been single handedly managed the entire team, emerging as a top run grosser. However, he wasn’t able to receive support from other players. Before the end of IPL 2021, there were talks about KL dropping off Punjab Kings, as he was not happy with his own performance. If we believe in the rumours, Rahul will be on of the batters who will receive a massive deal in the mega auction.
2. Hardik Pandya
The all-rounder, Hardik Pandya is mostly prepared to quit on Mumbai Indians (MI). The Baroda cricketer wasn’t able to give his best due to his recurring niggles and injuries. He suffered a back injury in 2019, which made him unable to bowl to his prime figures, even his batting stats have dropped down. Despite not getting retained by Mumbai, Hardik is likely to get a huge contract with some other franchises.

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell had found Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) as the right franchise for him, as it helped him boost his IPL career. Maxwell played a very essential role for RCB in IPL 2021. He played several match-saving knocks, however, scoring tons of runs, didn’t help him retain his place in the team. Owing to his brilliant IPL season, Maxwell is said to fetch brilliant IPL bids in the mega auction as well and can be definitely one of the highest played IPL players in the IPL 2022!
