One of the main reasons why is it difficult to stay in the city that never sleeps is its expensive housing. MoneyControl news recently published a report on three of the most dope yet most expensive housing locations in India.

Here are the three most plush and expensive residential areas of Mumbai –

 

Worli

A locality of South Bombay, Worli is famous for its seaside promenade, with views of the Arabian Sea and the spectacular Bandra-Worli Sea Link cable bridge. Worli is the second most expensive residential are of Mumbai. One square feet of area in Worli is going to cost you Rs. 41,000. Many famous celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli have homes in this expensive locality.

 

 

Mahalaxmi

Next in line is Mahalaxmi, a popular neighborhood in the city of Mumbai. The area is most famous for the Mahalaxmi temple and the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, this racecourse is the only helipad open for civilian use in South Mumbai. The cost of one square feet in a residential apartment in this area will start at Rs. 40,000.

 

Tardeo

Tardeo is the most expensive area in Mumbai where one square feet of area in an apartment will cost you Rs. 56,000. Tardeo is a locality of South Mumbai and stretches from the Nana Chowk to Haji Ali Junction. The locality of Tardeo is home to the tallest building in India, the building is called ‘The Imperial Towers’. The Tardeo road also has Mumbai’s costliest oval-shaped sky-over bridge.
