5 star hotel, robotic gallery, railway projects worth ₹1100 crore to be inaugurated by PM Modi

Three new attractions in a state-of-the-art science city among others, shall be Virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat.

The project worth over ₹1,100 crores which include a 5-star hotel atop a railway station, new trains, three new attractions in a state-of-the-art science city among others, shall be virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat on Friday, according to a report released by India Today.

With three new attractions which include a robotic gallery, a nature park and an aquatic gallery, the Science City in Ahmedabad has been expanded while the five-star hotel is a part of the redeveloped Gandhinagar railway station.

Atop the Gandhinagar railway station, a 5-star luxury hotel has been jointly developed by the Ministry of Railways along with the Gandhinagar Railway and Urban Development Corporation. Spread across 7,400 square metres and built for ₹790 crores, the luxury hotel is equipped with 318 rooms.

A senior Railway official in Ahmedabad, Sumit Awasthi mentioned that for organising national and international events such as conferences and exhibitions, the Mahatma Mandir convention centre in Gandhinagar is becoming the venue of choice. Earlier there was a lack of appropriate accommodation and connectivity and as a result, incorporating a 318 room swanky Hotel, the Gandhinagar railway station has been redeveloped.

The state of The Art Science City in Ahmedabad has been added with three new attractions which include an aquatic gallery along with a robotic gallery and a Nature Park shall also be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually.

Being India’s largest aquarium equipped with 68 large tanks to display marine life from across the world, the aquatic gallery has been built for ₹260 crores in Science City.
