House of the Dragon is an HBO action-fantasy series based on some of George R. Martin’s 2018 book Fire and Blood. It is a prequel and spin-off of Game of Thrones, which was originally released on the previously mentioned network from 2011 to 2019, and is the adaptation of Martin’s ongoing major work, the Ice Song and Fire book series. Set 172 years before Daenerys Targaryen, the story spins around the brutal War of Succession between two factions of the Royal House of Targaryen.

The character of Game of Thrones that can appear in the house of the Dragon?

Since the series is full of dragons, the obvious answer to this question is likely Melisandre von Asshai (Carice van Houten), otherwise called the Red Woman or the Red Witch. She is the Red Priestess of R’hllor, the Lord of Light. As per character lore, she was born 100 years before Aegon I Targaryen conquered Westeros. Thus, in the event that the makers of the series, which incorporates Martin himself, want it, Melisandre could appear in House of the Dragon sooner or later. Also, van Houten has reportedly expressed interest in repeating his Game of Thrones character in the prequell. While we couldn’t say whether other priests and priestesses of R’hllor have supernatural abilities of slow aging and longevity, in Season 6 we meet another Red Priestess, Kinvara (Ania Bukstein). A high-ranking member of the R for the Priesthood, she has a ruby neckband like Melisandre’s. Thus, it’s possible that Kinvara is at least as old as Melisandre and may perhaps show up in House of the Dragon. Turning north, the Three-Eyed Raven (Struan Rodger and Max von Sydow) and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) are incredible candidates for House of the Dragon. Both have the ability called Greensight, which permits them to see the past, present, and future and time travel. As per different theories, this is actually Brynden “Bloodraven” Rivers, one of King Aegon IV Targaryen’s great bastards.

The program never affirms this. As a matter of fact, the portrayal of the three-eyed raven directly contradicts certain physical characteristics of the blood raven. The true identity of the three-eyed raven stays a mystery. Toward the end of the series a contemporary of Bloodraven or someone greater or lesser.

If House of the Dragon becomes an anthology series, we could even see the Children of the Forest and the Night King (Richard Brake and Vladimír Furdík) in the forthcoming seasons. The Children of the Forest, Leaf (Octavia Alexandru and Kae Alexander), were engaged with the creation of the Night King long before the founding of Valyrian civilization. The Valyrian Freehold is Character from the first series that might appear.
