The isekai-based anime is adapted from the manga series, written by Nozomu Koryu. The story revolves around Pastry Mille, who passes away in a terrible accident. He is reincarnated as a child of a poor lord and will create desserts and sweets in the fantasy world for the people, just like he did in his previous life, but there’s a tragic twist as the new world he resides in is new to the concept of the sweet and he will need to prepare all this without sugar.

In 2022, the makers announced that the manga series will be renewed for an animation show. The opening song for the anime is Brand New Day and the closing track is Fūmizekka, which is known as delicious taste. A new promotional video has also been released for the upcoming show.

Ayumu Murase will voice for Pastry Mille and Natsumi Fujiwara will play for Marcarullo Doroba. The anime will also stream on Crunchyroll same time as it airs on other TV networks.
