The first part of the adventure-based anime Helck has come to an end, releasing 10 awesome episodes each week. And with no delay, the makers have again spiked audiences’ curiosity by dropping a new anime trailer for the second part. The upcoming cour will be premiered in October this year and is animated by Satelight Studious. A key visual was released featuring the main characters.
The show initially started airing on the 12th of July, 2023. It is directed by Tatsuo Sato while the script work is done by Mitsutaka Hirota and Toshizo Nemoto. Yoshihisa Hirano will be handling the music composition. Yoshinori Deno is assigned as the character designer.

The show is adapted from a manga series of the same name written by Nanaki Nanao and published by Shogakukan. It was serialized in their Ura Sunday magazine MangaONE app from the 5th of May 2014 to the 18th of December 2017. The manga has 12 volumes in total.
The plot of the anime revolves around a fantasy world wherein the demon king is defeated by a human hero. It has been three months since this epic tragedy. The demons have however grown outrageous and are conducting a new tournament for electing their new lord. The one contestant who rises above everyone is Helck, who claims to hate his community (humans). Vermilio the Red, who is one of the Four Elite Lords controlling the entire tournament acknowledges Helck and tries to toughen the level of competition.
However, Helck manages to win each of the tests. Vermilio also gets to know that Helck is a criminal in the human world and has been charged with killing his brother; the person who killed the demon lord. The Elite lord is still confused about the true motivation of Helck for entering the competition and what happened in three months.
