Berserk of Gluttony’s new trailer revealed; anime scheduled to release on October 4th

Berserk of Gluttony is one of the highly anticipated anime of fall 2023. Ahead of its release, the makers have released a new preview trailer, in order to spike the audience’s curiosity. The anime is all set to hit your TV screens on the 4th of October, this year.


Based on a dark fantasy theme, the anime is adapted from a light novel series of the same name. It is written by Ichika Isshiki and has 8 volumes published since 2017. A manga version was also released by Micro Magazine in their Comic Ride magazine. It was published in March 2018 and has 10 volumes so far.

The official announcement regarding the television adaption was made in October 2022. The upcoming show will be animated by A.C.G.T  Studious and directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa. The series composition is done by Mariko Kunisawa while the character design is done by Takafumi Furusawa.

Berserk of Gluttony has been licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming the series overseas. While the anime will be available to watch on local networks such as Tokyo MX, BS11 and SUN.

The anime revolves around Fate Graphite, who works at the noble family as the gatekeeper. But he is always insulted for not having any skills. After a while, he kills a bandit and discovers his skill gluttony and also gets to know that he can absorb other skills through his own skill. As the series of events unfolds, he grows stronger and takes revenge for the humiliation. He strives hard and therefore navigates an interesting life lies ahead of him.
