Ant-Man 3: Release Date, Trailer, Cast and so much more!

Scott Lang probably had no idea that he would end up battling insane CEOs, molecularly unstable superspies, and extraterrestrial armies led by Thanos when he first discovered Hank Pym’s old Ant-Man suit. But in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Scott and Hope van Dyne are embarking on their biggest (or tiniest) journey yet.

Ant-Man 3 will undoubtedly follow suit with the first science fiction film in Marvel’s Phase 5 diving deeply into various timelines, different universes, and the multiverse itself. The concept of the Quantum Realm, a tiny universe that exists right before our very eyes, was briefly explored in the previous movies. Hank Pym has already rescued his long-lost love, Janet Van Dyne, from this odd new world, but it appears that our favorite little MCU characters will learn more about it in the next sequel.

But what is the storyline of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? Who is there? Is a trailer available? Who is the bad guy? Not to worry. To bring you all you need to know about Ant-Man 3, we have reduced ourselves to the Quantum Realm.

Ant-Man 3 Plot

Although Marvel continues to keep the contents of Ant-Man 3’s narrative a secret, we do know some information. First off, Bill Murray has been cast as an unnamed villain; although we don’t yet know who he will be portraying, it appears that our heroes will be busy.

One fascinating casting revelation has already revealed another enemy Scott and Hope will face up against in addition to Murray. The conqueror Kang. Yes, for some reason the time-traveling ruler is making his way to the Quantum Realm. The actor Jonathan Majors, who starred in Lovecraft Country, joined Quantumania in September 2020, according to a report by Deadline.

At the conclusion of Loki, the actor made a brief cameo as He Who Remains, an alternative Kang who established the Time Variance Authority to stop further multiverse wars with other Kang variations. However, Majors will portray a very different version of the venerable antagonist when he appears in Quantumania. Previously, he said to GamesRadar, “The character is different, so you move a different way; my psychology has shifted because of the character. He’s just a different guy.”

It’s unclear whether Kang will make his MCU debut in Quantumania or whether he exits the Quantum Realm as the Avengers did in Avengers: Endgame when they traveled across time. There is no doubt that Ant-Man and the Wasp will engage in a fierce battle. Kang is a cruel genius who has adopted several aliases throughout the years, including Rama-Tut, Immortus, and even the title of the hero Iron Lad.

Ant-Man 3 Trailer

On October 27, 2022, the first Ant-Man 3 trailer was released.

Ant-Man 3 Cast

In case it wasn’t clear, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne will be played by Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly respectively in Ant-Man 3. Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas, and Janet van Dyne, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, will both be present.

After all those years when Hank was growing resentful and alone while Janet was trapped in the Quantum Realm, it will be intriguing to watch how that family dynamic has changed. And as was already revealed, Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror will oppose them.

Kathryn Newton, who starred in Detective Pikachu, is another newbie to the MCU and will portray an older Cassie Lang, Scott’s daughter. She dresses up as the enormous superhero Stature in the comics, so it’s feasible that she’ll join Ant-Man and the Wasp in the sequel.

Bill Murray, though, is an unexpected additional talent who makes his MCU debut in Quantumania. He unintentionally broke the news to Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, telling them, “You know, I just finished a Marvel movie. I’m probably not supposed to tell you, but whatever.”

When asked whether it was Abt-Man 3, he responded that he greatly enjoyed his time working with Peyton Reed on Bring It On and has chosen to do it once more. “Some people were pretty surprised why I decided on a project like this, of all things. But for me, the situation was completely clear: I got to know the director and really liked him.”

Ant-Man 3 Release Date

The movie Ant-Man 3 will hit theatres on July 28, 2023. It is the first chapter of Phase 5, which marks the beginning of a new era for the series.

The release date for the sequel has already been moved around a few times; it was originally scheduled for 2022 but was postponed to February 2023 before being moved back to its original July release date. This isn’t entirely unexpected considering how drastically Hollywood has changed as a result of the (ongoing) epidemic.
