According to a report in ETimes, Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena are all set to reunite for the second season. The second season of the show is probably to go on floors in December.
According to the report, the production house is in talks with Vivian and Drashti. The report spoke of the second season will have a new story, but with a filmi backdrop, similarly to the initial edition. As per the report, it will be a 25-episode series and it will start in the first quarter of next year.
The report said, “The production house is in discussion with Vivian and Drashti. Talks have arrived at an advanced stage and monies are being consulted. It will be a new story, but with a filmi backdrop like the primary edition. We plan to go on floors in December and the show will launch in the first quarter of next year. It is set to be a 25-episode series.”
Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is not the first show that will have a sequel. TV shows like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Sasural Simar Ka, and Balika Vadhu, have returned with their respective second seasons.
