Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is giving out some major plot twists and fans are in for all the drama and thrill. The triangle between Abhira, Armaan and Ruhi is getting immense attention and has become the highlight so far. Despite the differences between Armaan and Abhira, they have grown closer over a while. Even Vidya and Charu are getting close to Abhira. In the upcoming episode, Armaan slams Ruhi in front of the entire Poddar family. He takes a stand for Abhira.
In the upcoming episode, it will be shown that Abhira puts forward the idea of playing Holi. But Dadisa rejects her suggestion and says there will be no Holi celebration. When Vidya is serving food to her, it is stopped midway by Dadisa. She tells Ruhi that from now on daughters-in-law should take on the house’s responsibility. Dadisa’s actions hurt Vidya. She puts the house keys on the table and walks away.
Later on, Abhira and Armaan try to lift Vidya’s mood. They are successful in their attempt and the three of them share some wholesome moments. Ruhi comes across the trio having fun and is envious of Abhira. Ruhi has realized that Abhira has become everyone’s favourite during her time in the house.

Krish and the other children do not like the idea of no Holi celebration. They protest that they want to play Holi and enjoy with the other kids. Ruhi reprimands the kids by saying they have also started misbehaving like Abhira. On hearing this, Abhira is hurt and leaves the place. Armaan then confronts Ruhi for her rude behaviour. He tells her not to interfere in Abhira’s life.
Ruhi is taken aback by Armaan’s sudden change in behaviour. Amaan slams her by stating that Abhira is always terrified in the house. No one seems to let go of her mistakes. He even tells Ruhi to stop repressing his wife. She will become a good lawyer and also a good daughter-in-law. Manish promises Abhira that the Poddar family will play Holi and it will be a fun experience. Armaan later on surprises Abhira with Holi ka Dahan.
It will be interesting to witness if Abhira and Armaan will grow to develop feelings in the upcoming episodes. Does Armaan’s actions towards Abhira signify something more than friendship?
