Sunil Grover sought to get a comeback on TV with his comedy show ‘Gangs of Filmistan’ together with a few other actors including Bigg Boss season 11 winner Shilpa Shinde. Shilpa however has quit the show recently saying that she was just used as an eye-candy in the show for a minute or two and had no real character. In an interview with Etimes actress even stated that if the makers want to give all the limelight to Sunil Grover, the show should be renamed as ‘Sunil Grover Show’ just like another show of comedian Kapil Sharma.

“I felt like I was being used as an eye candy. I came, I uttered two lines and went off. I was not interested in doing television. It’s not like I have no money and was desperate to get back to work. But they have used my name. I am doing the show after two years, I should have at least given a special entry. Till the time we were performing the scenes without Sunil ji we all were doing great, the moment he started doing gags, we got sidelined,” says Shilpa Shinde as put by Etimes.

Shilpa also revealed that the crew is tortured on the sets with long and irregular shooting hours and also by not providing scripts. She explicitly said that none of the necessary precaution measures are taken on the sets amid the Covid-19 situation and cleared that she is not going to work as a side role if she is doing her come back after years as she does not want to disappoint her fans.
