The fourth season of Shark Tank India kicked off with high energy and drama as social media influencer and entrepreneur Gaurav Taneja, famously known as Flying Beast, took the stage to pitch his fitness brand, Beast Life. The show, premiering on January 6, already promises intense moments, with Taneja’s pitch being a standout highlight.
Beast Life’s Pitch
Taneja introduced Beast Life as more than just a health and supplement brand, describing it as a holistic “healthy way of life.” During the presentation, his team revealed a staggering achievement—Rs 1 crore in sales within just one hour of the brand’s launch. The revelation left the sharks, including Aman Gupta (boAt), Vineeta Singh (SUGAR Cosmetics), and Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), stunned.
- Aman Gupta called the milestone “a dream for a lot of businesses.”
- Taneja asked the sharks for Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1% equity, valuing his brand at Rs 100 crore.
Sharks’ Reactions
Curious about Taneja’s entrepreneurial journey, Kunal Bahl (Snapdeal) highlighted the unconventional path of an IIT graduate turning influencer. Peyush Bansal questioned the earning potential of influencers, while Vineeta Singh pressed on the rationale behind asking for Rs 1 crore despite the brand’s evident success.
Taneja responded emotionally, stating, “This is my life. If this fails, I can’t create another one.”
