It airs on Sony Tv and its digital sister concern Sony Liv app. This show is an Indian adaptation of an American original show called Shark Tank, which is being telecast on American Broadcasting Company since 2009. In last night’s episode of Shark Tank India season 02 a man from Bangalore had come to Shark Tank to pitch his company that makes organic shoes called Flat Heads. His claim was these shoes don’t stink from sweat. His original ask was INR 75 Lakhs for 3% equity for a valuation of 25 crore.
Flat Heads made 100% sales at a negative COGS of -40%. Gross margin is 60% and Trade Margin is negative 12%. Contribution Margin 1 of 48% and Logistics Marketing of negative 60%. The company raised INR 5.2 crores from investors for a valuation of INR 28 crores Pre-Money. Peyush Bansal gave him an offer of INR 75Lakhs for 33.3% equity for a valuation of INR 2.25 crores. But he politely refused the offer saying, “I think I need to evaluate the priorities in life right now.”
