Popular Indian television daily soap ‘Anupamaa’ has been leading TRP (Television Rating Point) graphs and hearts for months now. The family daily soap attracted a massive popularity. Recently, there has been news that the creators of the show are intending for a fresh male lead who will portray the part of Anupamaa’s partner in her dance academy but will turn out to be her childhood admirer. While the creators are searching for this male lead, one of the names that are reportedly standing constantly is Sharad Kelkar.
However, in an exclusive chat with india.com, Sharad Kelkar has refuted the news of being approached by the creators and explained that all such reports are wrong. “No, there is nothing of that sort. No no no,” the ‘Family Man’ actor also said. Not just this, but when questioned about if he will consider acting in the show if approached, Sharad said, “I don’t think I have dates for daily soaps.”
Nonetheless, it has not been officially confirmed that if the new character will replace Sudhanshu Pandey’s role or will he play Anupamaa’s new love interest. According to the news, creators are leading with a new character to make the family drama more fascinating. The actor, who will play the part of Anupamaa’s new love interest, has not been confirmed but many actors including Sharad Kelkar, Rohit Roy, Ram Kapoor, Rajeev Khandelwal, Varun Badola, and Arshad Warsi have been approached for the same.
