Shocking news for the television industry, actor Ashiesh Roy passed away at age of 55, due to kidney failure.
“He collapsed around 3.45 am. He had a kidney ailment and his dialysis was also going on but he had gotten better in the last few weeks… His sister will arrive from Kolkata in the evening. A call on funeral will be then taken,” the staff member said.
Ashiesh has been suffering from kidney disease for last few years and faced financial difficulties. In the last year, he had seeked help through social media.
In a previous interview, he had said that he needed money for treatment otherwise doctors would stop his treatments. A college student had helped him. He even tried to reach out Salman Khan but there was no help.
Actor has worked in the television shows like Remix, Sasural Simar Ka, Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Byomkesh Bakshi and many other roles. He also a voice actor who has dubbing for foreign films.
