The first participant of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 12, Aarti Jagtap, ended up using all her lifelines before she touched the 10th question. However, she answered the 10th question successfully and collected Rs 6,40,000 as the cash prize. After answering the first 10 questions, she chose to quit the game and secured the cash amount of Rs 6,40,000. Sony TV tweeted her congratulations from their official Twitter account.

After she quit, Sonu Kumar Gupta, who is a service technician, won the second round of Fastest Finger First. The participants were asked to arrange the name of Presidents according to their appointment. Sonu Kumar quickly arranged them in the correct order and secured his place on the hot seat.
As the timeslot for the day ran out, Sonu Kumar will be answering the question of India’s biggest quiz show tomorrow in front of Mr Amitabh Bachchan. With the first contestant of this season, Aarti Jagtap, answering the questions with much confidence and help from the lifelines, let us hope Sonu Kumar puts up a longer show and makes it to the 16th question.
