Actor Parth Samthaan was tested positive for COVID-19 few days back and the shoot for the TV serial ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ was temporarily halted. It is now said that the shoot for the serial will reportedly resume on Friday. Actor Karan Patel, who is the new Mr Bajaj of the show and actress Pooja Banerjee, who will be playing the role of Nivedita Basu, will get back to work as the plot focuses on these two characters, reported Mumbai Mirror.
One of the sources said that, “Parth is under treatment at his home. The makers of the serial are taking care of all his medical needs and are ensuring that he is getting a good treatment. He will be tested again on July 26. Until then, the portions which he had already shot in the last month will be used in the upcoming episodes. He is expected to start his work before the month August.”
A member of actor Aamna Sharif’s staff also tested positive for COVID-19 this week. Aamna plays the role of Komolika in the show. On Wednesday, she shared a story on her Instagram handle by saying, “Thank you to you all for your sweet messages and well wishes. I and my family have tested negative for COVID-19. Although one of my staff members has tested positive. Isolating him and making sure he receives all the necessary treatment with precautions. A big thanks to the BMC. They have been very helpful and prompt with the entire procedure. I urge you all to do our bit by wearing a mask and social distancing. It is the only need of the hour.”
