But due to the COVID-19, the shoot got rescheduled in August. The reunion was supposed to premiere in May this year on HBO Max. David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow have given updates on the reunion earlier, and now Jennifer Aniston finally broke her silence on the reunion of the sitcom.
While the news broke out that the reunion once again got delayed, Aniston spoke to Deadline via phone said, “It’s going to be super. You know what? This has also given more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been. So I choose to see it as the glass is half full that it got postponed. Look we are not going anywhere. You are never going to get rid of FRIENDS, sorry. You are stuck with us for life guys.”
The producers are willing to shoot the show in a live studio with an audience for them to enjoy it. So it will be worth the wait.
The reunion will be filmed on the original FRIENDS sound stage on the Warner Bros, CA and will feature the original cast and crew. The writers David Crane and Marta Kauffman are also expected to appear in the reunion special.
