Hulu has updated its fans on the upcoming spin-off series ‘How I Met Your Father’.

According to the THR report, the series will consist of 10 episodes. The original creators of the show Craig Thomas and Carter Bays would be the executive producers of the show while Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Barger will be the showrunners for How I Met Your Mother.
The executive producing duo will also work alongside Bays and Thomas with the original series, How I Met Your Mother with Pam Fryman on board with the same role.
Hilary Duff would be taking on both the star and producer as Sophie who will narrate her story on how she met her son’s father.
Hulu describes the series as a story that revolves around Sophie and her close group of friends who are trying to figure out their identity their purpose in life and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and infinite options.
The caste of How I Met Your Father consists of Fan-favourite Lizzie Mcguire or Hilary Duff, as Sophie in the series, Chris Lowell who’ll play Jesse, a musician and Uber driver, Tom Ainsley as Charlie an aspiring model, Space Force actress Tien Tran as Ellen and Suraj Sharma as Sid, Jesse’s roommate and best friend and Francia Raisa an aspiring stylist and Sophie’s roommate.
