Gurpreet Bedi to play the negative lead in Kumkum Bhagya? Here’s what we know

The makers of Kumkum Bhagya have cast a fresh actress to play an antagonist. 

Kumkum Bhagya is one of the most popular television shows, with viewers glued to their TVs. The programme is currently enjoying great success and is well-liked by the audience. The producers are going to great lengths to make the drama more interesting. Well, Pinkvilla recently revealed that Meri Durga actress Srishty Jain has been cast as a bad character in the show.

They even claimed that Pyaar Ke Saath Vachan Dharam Patnii actor Gurpreet Bedi would play a negative role in the show. Yes, the actress has been cast opposite Krishna Kaul (Ranbir Kohli) in the show. According to reports, Krishna and Mugdha will soon leave the show, and fresh performers will take over the tale. Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma will play the key roles in the show.

Gurpreet Bedi shared her heart out on joining Kumkum Bhagya. The actress stated that Kumkum Bhagya has been airing for ten years and is a prominent show. She even said it’s an honour to be a part of this event. She also mentioned that some of her friends are already on the show, which adds to her excitement. She expressed her excitement to be a part of Kumkum Bhagya.

Gurpreet also discussed playing the negative role in the drama, stating that while the character begins on a bright note, viewers will see numerous levels and grey shades of the character. She stated that she wants viewers to see various layers and grey colours of the character since it is grey-shaded.

Gurpreet worked as Keerti, Ravi Randhawa’s lover, in the film Keerti, Ravi Randhawa. The primary cast of Kumkum Bhagya includes Mugdha Chaphekar, Abrar Qazi, and Rachi Sharma.
