Season 2 of Shark Tank India premiered its first episode on the first Monday of the year 2023 — January 2, 2033. The show was telecast on Sony Tv and its digital app, Sony Liv. Shark Tank is an Indian adaptation of an American show of the same name telecast on American Broadcasting Company.
The format of the show is such that there are five to six popular and rich entrepreneurs, whom upcoming businesses come and pitch to and they invest in those businesses after cracking a mutually-agreeable deal with them. These entrepreneurs are called Sharks. They are called Sharks because each one of them would wanna grab an opportunity to invest in the businesses that are being pitched to them by various business people.
