Dorje Teas grew by INR 30 Lakhs from Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh at Shark Tank India season 2

Episode one of Shark Tank India had one of the owners of Dorje Teas, a premium tea brand impress the Sharks with the amazing storytelling of his product and the sharp skill of his oration. Peyush Bansal even complimented him that being a business owner, smooth oration is one of the best qualities the leader must have. Dorje Teas, even though subscription based, managed to have Sharks crack a deal of INR 30 Lakhs in exchange for 15% equity of their business. This deal was cracked by Peyush Bansal, owner of Leskart, a premium eyewear brand, Anupam Mittal, owner of Shadi.com, a  matrimonial platform, Makaan.com, a real-estate platform and Mauj, a short-video application and by Vineeta Singh, owner of Sugar Cosmetics, a renowned cosmetics product firm.

Dorje Teas sells teas directly to the customer following a subscription-based purchase from their website. Their tea garden is in Assam. Dorje Tea is all natural and organic premium tea. The cost of Dorje Tea oscillates INR 200 and INR 1000. They yearly subscription of Dorje Tea costs 2100 Rupees. The owners claim to have achieved a business of INR 10 crore in the coming 5 years. In August 2022, they made a revenue of 11 Lakh Rupees. Their gross margin is 75% and net margin is negative.
